This month, we look at some of critical issues for Swiss pension funds to address, given five years of negative interest rates. In particular, how are pension funds coping in the ‘new normal’ world of monetary policy? What are the short, medium and long-term outlooks for interest rates and inflation? What should pension funds do going forward regarding their investment policy, exposures to inflation and interest rate risks and strategic asset allocation?

We are delighted to announce that Martin Hess, Chief Economist and a senior management member of the Swiss Bankers Association will give a Macro view and Keynote talk entitled Negative Interest Rates: The Need to Get Out of the Crisis Mode.
