Taxation and the superrich

Florian Scheuer holds the Professorship for Economics of Institutions, endowed by the UBS Center at the University of Zurich. Scheuer joined Zurich coming from Stanford University in 2017, and is a Faculty Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR), a Research Affiliate at the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and the CESifo Network, as well as a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). Scheuer has been awarded a prestigious ERC Starting Grant from the European Commission in 2017, which will support his research on inequality and its implications for tax policy and political economy.

In his inaugural lecture, Professor Scheuer will discuss taxation and the superrich. The lecture will take place at the University of Zurich and is open to the public.
